AI-Ready Engineering Workshop
Prepare your codebase for AI-assisted development — and start implementing immediately. Most teams start using AI in coding without preparing their codebase, workflows, or standards. This workshop is designed to fix that.
Duration
1 day
Prerequisite: AI-Ready Engineer training must be completed before attending this workshop.
One full day – morning focused on analysis and planning, afternoon on hands-on implementation in your codebase
What You'll Learn
- ›Preparing your codebase for AI-assisted development
- ›Identifying technical debt and structural issues that block effective AI usage
- ›Defining patterns, conventions, and guardrails for AI-generated code
- ›Establishing a workflow where AI can be used safely and consistently
How It Works
Morning – Make your codebase AI-ready: Analyze your current codebase and development practices, identify gaps that reduce AI effectiveness, create a prioritized backlog of improvements, and define conventions and guardrails. Afternoon – Implement in your own codebase: Start implementing selected improvements, refactor and structure code, apply agreed patterns, and validate that AI can now operate more effectively in your environment.

Outcome
By the end of the workshop, your team will: Have a clear, prioritized backlog for making your codebase AI-ready, Have implemented concrete improvements in your own codebase, Understand how to work with AI in a controlled, production-ready way, Be able to continue the transformation independently
